Company founder Bassist Gary Foote is a long time Bassist for legendary Motown artists, leading hip hop and jazz artists. After attending Florida State University where he studied music composition and performance, Gary Foote moved to New York City. He quickly emerged on the music scene and began touring with jazz great, drummer Billy Cobham. Whether teaming up with iconic artists such as Smokey Robinson, Blood Sweat and Tears, Maxwell, Wu Tang Clan, P Diddy’s Bad Boy artists ect. or working behind the scenes scoring for films,radio and television-Bassist/ Composer/Producer, Gary Foote’s whirlwind life of music has propelled him to over 75 countries, enthralling audiences on six continents.

With midwestern roots he was immersed in hard Jazz, hard rock and of course hard funk.  After an early high school graduation he received a full scholarship to Florida State University where he studied music composition and performance. Gary then moved to New York City where he quickly emerged on the music scene and began touring with Swiss based  jazz/fusion great,  Billy Cobham. After signing with RCA records with Charlie Elgart, Gary moved to Japan with BBC and began to work in NYC with Rock Video International as a coordinating/ Producer while touring with songstress  Regina Belle.

Gary began a lifelong touring relationship with the legendary band “Blood Sweat and Tears” and held that post until Smokey Robinson and Berry Gordy hired him to work with the family at Motown. As a founding partner in the company Soundguild he composed and produced music for television shows under the Viacom umbrella ( MTV, Nickelodeon, TV Land, ect.) as well as music for Quincy Jones productions  and Nile Rogers productions.

Gary’s time has primarily been spent touring the world and along with his wife Jenny Douglas Foote (Toto, Pink) . At present he is  working the june 1st release of his Book/Music course for producers,  songwriters,musicians, and vocalists of all styles and is enthusiastic about sharing all he can with all those interested in Music. “ In learning you will teach and in teaching you will learn”
